Terms & Conditions


Please read this information carefully, as yacht charter bookings are accepted only in accordance with your acceptance of the
terms and conditions set out below.


In order to make and confirm your reservation, a charter agreement must be signed by both parties and 40 % deposit of the total charter amount should be paid. Payment must reach our account within a week after confirmation of the reservation. The balance 60% is to be paid 6 weeks prior to embarkation date.

Your deposit is fully refundable up to 90 days prior to your charter departure date. Only 10% will be charged for administrative costs when cancelled after the deposit payment is made.


Our contract, following the lines of the MYBA (Mediterranean Yacht Brokers Association) is designed to standardize charter terms and protect the Charterer (You), the Owner, and the Agent/Broker (if applicable).
It has standard protections and escalation clauses in case any problems arise.

Should it be necessary to cancel your reservation please contact AegeanVoyages as soon as possible. It will also be necessary for you to submit your cancellation in writing via email or post.

Cancellation for any reason, including medical or family reasons are subject to the following fees;

Days prior to departure

      75% of total charter fee

0 - 29 days prior to departure

      100 % of total charter fee

Date changes may be possible up to 6 weeks prior to departure (based on availability)
Dates may be postponed up to a maximum of 12 months

Should the yacht be unavailable at the agreed period through inability of the company, the company reserves the right to provide an alternative yacht of comparable capacity.

If the charter must be curtailed for reasons brought about by the company, the charterer shall be refunded in proportion to the period of curtailment. The company shall not be liable for any curtailment caused through fault of a passenger.

The company’s liability of any kind is limited to the charter price. In case of serious damage so that ship’s instruments and machinery requires immediate repair in the harbour, the charterer must accept a lay day period of a maximum time of 24 hours for which no repayment may be claimed.

Should continuation of the cruise be impossible, the company reserves the right to provide an alternative yacht of comparable capacity or to refund the cruise price in proportion to the period of curtailment, but will be under no further liability.

With regards to the safety of the ship and the well being of all persons on board, the Captain has complete discretion to alter the route and cruise program due to weather conditions. On the grounds of such alterations no liability attaches to the company.


Charter Rental Period
Generally, the charter rental period is Saturday to Saturday (unless stated otherwise). Embarkation is any time after 15.00 and disembarkation is 10.00 a.m.
Should you wish to charter the boat starting or finishing on days other than a Saturday, please contact us with your request.


Gulet Relocation
If you wish to start or end your Gulet charter at a port other than that mentioned for that specific tour, the extra cost of diesel used to relocate the gulet will be charged.

All vacations are priced in EURO


Airport Transfers
Transfer fees are not included in the price of the charter (unless otherwise stated). Upon request, we can arrange your transfers to/from the airport and yacht with a well-maintained, air-conditioned car or bus. The cost of those transfers will be forwarded on to you but please note that they may change depending on group size and distance.

Our yacht is fully insured against fire, marine and collision risks. We do not accept responsibility for accidents, injury or death due to swimming, the use of snorkeling equipment, water-skis, windsurfer, canoe or any other sports equipment. Our insurance policy does not include protection and indemnity coverage for the clients. It is recommended that all clients obtain for themselves relevant travel & cancellation insurance.


Greek Island ‘all inclusive’ Cabin Charters
For these special charters, each vacation is priced per person (twin share) based on a minimum number of guests travelling (being 6 cabins / up to 12 passengers).
Should this minimum number not be reached, AegeanVoyages reserves the right to amend the pricing. AegeanVoyages reserves the right to pass on any cost increase that may occur.


For all charters you will require a valid passport. You are responsible for arranging your own passport.
Note: For Greek Island charters, AegeanVoyages will be happy to arrange your visa for Greece (if required) prior to departing Turkey. Any cost involved for obtaining a visa (if required) will be forwarded on to you at cost.


Meal Packages (breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea & dinner)
Standard menu:           30 € person/day
Deluxe menu:             45 € person/day

Deluxe menu is rich in seafood consisting of shrimps, fresh local fish & calamari. Some form of seafood will be served at least 3-4 times in a week.

Single Supplement
We welcome single travelers on any of our charters. Please understand that the cost for accommodation in a cabin occupied by one person is higher than that shared by two people.
Single passengers who wish to have a cabin for themselves must pay an additional 70% of the charter fee.
